Waking up in Vegas

So much more than just a Billboard #9 ranked Katy Perry song, we know that many business travelers find themselves in America’s 3rd most popular city for conventions. While some people are thrilled at the thought of a sin-fueled getaway or business excursion others may dread all of the lights, traffic and action. Regardless of where you land on that spectrum, here are 3 non-traditional, non-typical Las Vegas activities that you should add to your list!

Excite your senses in illusion: Need a memorable evening or a fun place not centered around gambling and drinking? I had such a great time thanks to the MOI marketing team experiencing the varied exhibits of the Museum of Illusions conveniently located on the strip and a perfect mini-attraction.

Chill out in the desert:  If drinking is part of your plan, why go to a regular bar when you could have an experience you won’t forget at Minus5 Ice Bar. With multiple locations across the strip, (I was invited to enjoy the location at Mandalay Bay pictured) grab your best attire and throw a parka over it to enjoy tons (over 90) of ice and a fun, memorable event that’s an especially welcome rendezvous if you happen to be visiting during one of Las Vegas’ sweltering summers.

Take the tunnel: A first of it’s kind underground experience and cost saving attraction is the all-new Las Vegas Loop. For just $5 a day, you can enjoy unlimited TESLA rides with 0 traffic in high tech, concrete tunnels. For now, this operates only close to the convention center BUT has been approved for travel as far away as the Las Vegas Airport.

There are tons of activities of all types you can experience and enjoy while spending time in Vegas and we hope you’ll take the time to experience these listed here.
