Is every moment of every trip perfect? Absolutely not. Are there perfect moments in every trip? Absolutely yes. Rollercoaster, peaks and valleys, highs and lows-whichever acronym suits you the most I assure you I’ve had them this past week…and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

This weekend, one of those lifetime high, peak, top travel moments worth a took place at Crypto.com arena in downtown Los Angeles…seeing Lebron James score a record setting 40,000 career points live-in person and the energy of the incredible Crypto.com arena was a unforgettable venture. One that I didn’t know was a possibility until sitting on the flight there. And there, at it’s core is the joy in travel…as a virgo, hyper-planner it can be easy to expect what will happen each time. The possibilities are endless, you just never know who you’ll meet, where you’ll go and what you’ll learn along the way. Maybe the other moment was stumbling into the most beautiful rooftop lounge for craft drinks that I’d only learned of moments before or the laughs along the way.

So let go of your fears, trust yourself, and embrace that uncertainty. It’s in those moments of spontaneity that we discover the true essence of travel—ventures, vistas and ultimately are reminded of our core values. Those unexpected encounters, the breathtaking vistas, the unforgettable memories.
