After attending the highly anticipated Bay Area Travel and Adventure Show I’m so excited to share over my thoughts for what’s happening with the wonderful world of travel.

Global Travel is Back- Those years of restrictions, bans, paperwork and testing are now far behind us and the dozens of countries represented from Aruba to India and on every continent reflect the excitement the world has that we are re-open and more energized than ever to explore the far unknown.

Small cities are shining– There were many small, mostly un-known towns showcasing their new dining options, tours, hotels and activities from places such as Redding, Las Cruces, Concord and more all offering an escape from the busy hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Tech is the Trend– From the stunning new Shashi Hotel with an app that opens doors and changes room temperatures to keynote Peter Greenberg sharing that soon TSA will be self-service and all liquids may be allowed, travelers more than ever are depending on tech to both make trip decisions and make trips more memorable.

It was such an excellent Saturday being invited to the Travel and Adventure show and hearing live from one of my favorite show-hosts Phil Keoghan share what travel means to him. If this event ever comes close to your hometown, I highly recommend attending.
